If you’re jonesing for your first glimpse of Earl Grant’s Gritty Not Pretty style of basketball, or just really looking forward to getting back to a game at Conte Forum, you now have a date to circle on your calendar, according to Jon Rothstein:

With the return of normal non-conference scheduling it’s a somewhat typical start for BC against a regional mid-to-low major opponent.
Dartmouth will be coming off an entire season of not playing, as the Ivy League canceled its 2020-21 season. In 2019-20 the Big Green went 12-17 (5-9 Ivy League).
BC last hosted Dartmouth on January 13, 2018, when BC topped Dartmouth 86-72. This game was only three years ago but basically feels like it was 500 years ago; Ky Bowman, Jerome Robinson, and Steffon Mitchell led the way for the Eagles.
The countdown is on to the start of the Earl Grant era, and now we know when the first game will be. So that’s something to look forward to.
