Post was a role player for the Bulldogs, playing about 9 minutes per game last season, averaging 2.8 points per game, 2.1 boards, 0.5 blocks, and shooting .415 from the field. This is an important pick-up for Earl Grant and his staff, as BC is extremely thin in the frontcourt and needs to add capable bodies. This addition, along with the earlier addition of forward TJ Bickerstaff, does just that.
Post is a very tall player who can immediately slot-in for some minutes, provide some rim protection, and hit some inside shots (.571 from inside the arc). BC has recently lost players like CJ Felder and Steffon Mitchell who could provide those skills. It doesn’t seem as though Post and Bickerstaff are quite the same talent as Felder and Mitchell, but they will certainly get the opportunity to develop as they both get more playing time than they did at their previous schools.
