Max Roberts Signs with LA Rams

NCAA Football: Louisville at Boston College Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

While he didn’t get drafted, Max Roberts has a new home. The LA Rams signed Max Roberts along with eight other undrafted free agents to a contract.

Listed now as an outside linebacker, Roberts will hope to get in the mix there eventually, but can contribute immediately on special teams if he makes the team. The Rams currently have five OLBs on their roster, one having been drafted in the seventh round. The franchise of course hit the jackpot with the last BC player on their roster S John Johnson. He got a big pay day from the Browns in free agency this past offseason, but the Rams will look to find a gem here just the same. They are a team more likely to rely on young players to fill out their roster, so Roberts will surely have a shot. Read more about Max Roberts in our Draft profile here.

Congrats, Max!
