Those seeking an injection of size on the Boston College hockey blue line got their man today as Cade Alami announced via Twitter that he has committed to the Eagles for 2021-22.

Alami is a 6’7’’ right shot defenseman who previously was committed to Providence College.

The addition of Alami continues BC’s efforts to get a little more age and experience after years of being college hockey’s youngest team just about every season. He is 20 years old and will turn 21 during the season, having completed a stint in the BCHL with the Surrey Eagles, where he played all 65 games in the 2019-20 season.

The Bedford, NY native played this past season for the Jersey Hitmen in the National Collegiate Development Conference.

More information will be shared in the coming days as BC continues to rebuild the roster heading in to the 2021-22 season. Welcome to the Heights!
