After playing in just 2 games this season for the Eagles, Sydney McQuietor will be transferring to Boise State, where she will maintain 4 years of eligibility.
McQuietor was ranked 17th in her position and 167th overall by Blue Star heading into her senior season. A 6’2 forward, she would have brought some good height to BC’s roster, but the Eagles will still have 3 players on the team at 6’2 or above (Clara Ford, Akunna Konkwo, and Ally VanTimmeren).
McQuietor only saw a couple of minutes of action in her two appearances for the Eagles, against UMass Lowell and UNH.
The Eagles have been hit with a number of transfers recently, as Milan Bolden-Morris transferred to Georgetown this season, while Sydney Lowery decided to sit out the season and will be heading to Fairfield next season. Top recruits Allie Palmieri and Ally VanTimmeren joined the team early to fill those spots, both making pretty immediate impacts on the team.
The Eagles have Maria Gakdeng, a 6’3 center ranked 18th in her position by both Blue Star and All Star Girls Report set to join the team next season, as well as guard Amaria Fields who averaged 20.5 points for her high school team as a junior. The Eagles will also likely be on the lookout to fill McQuietor’s roster spot with a transfer.
