According to Brad Schlossman, Boston College senior defenseman Michael Karow has entered the transfer portal, possibly looking for a place to spend his fifth year of eligibility. Due to the pandemic, all NCAA players received an extra year of eligibility this year. Additionally, entering the transfer portal doesn’t necessarily mean that a player will leave especially with how many players are entering it, but it’s likely.
Minnesota seniors starting to enter the portal: Forwards Brannon McManus (9-16--25) and Cullen Munson (2-7--9) are in. Boston College senior defenseman Michael Karow (1-2--3), an Arizona pick, also is in.

This past year, Karow served as an assistant captain and was the lone senior to dress for the Eagles’ NCAA tournament appearance. In 131 games at BC, he had 15 points, scoring a career high of six points in his freshman year. He scored his first career goal this year against Northeastern in his 120th game as an Eagle. We wish him the best of luck!
As the transfer market begins to heat up and players sign professional contracts, it’s likely that BC will be in the market for transfers as well.
