Boston College men’s basketball’s CJ Felder announced on Twitter that he will be entering the NCAA transfer portal, not ruling out a return to Boston College after considering his options.

The 6’7’’ sophomore forward is one of the most promising pieces on the BC roster and you would think someone the new coaching staff will press hard to keep on board.

Felder averaged 13.9 points and 8.6 rebounds per 40 minutes this season, ticking up from his freshman marks of 11 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.

Felder is the second prominent Eagle to enter the portal this week, following Jay Heath, who put his name in previously. The roster also suffered a blow when Steffon Mitchell declared for the NBA draft, passing up on the opportunity for a 5th year of eligibility.

Earlier in the year, Wynston Tabbs and Rich Kelly announced their intentions to transfer, so the roster attrition keeps adding up since the firing of Jim Christian back in February.
