All season long, Boston College has been missing at least one - and usually multiple - players from their ideal lineup, with pieces coming and going, but never quite getting to full strength.
That will continue tonight.
Alex Newhook finally returns for his first game in about a month, back from a shoulder injury he sustained during the World Junior Championship. He will slot in to his familiar place on the top line with Mike Hardman and Matt Boldy.
But according to the pregame lineup sheet posted by BC, Logan Hutsko will miss tonight’s game. Hutsko has dealt with a litany of injuries throughout his BC career, though we don’t know yet why he is out tonight.
Casey Carreau, who missed Tuesday night’s game at Northeastern, is back in, reuniting a fourth line that has been a sparkplug for BC in recent weeks.
BC’s lineup:
Mike Hardman - Alex Newhook - Matt Boldy
Nikita Nesterenko - Jack McBain - Colby Ambrosio
Trevor Kuntar - Mark McLaughlin - Patrick Giles
Danny Weight - Harrison Roy - Casey Carreau
Marshall Warren - Drew Helleson
Michael Karow - Eamon Powell
Tim Lovell - Jack St Ivany
Mitch Andres
