The Boston College men’s basketball team takes on Wake Forest for the first time this season today in what will be BC’s second game back after missing 4 games due to COVID protocol within the program and another game due to a positive test on FSU.

The Eagles, who have won just a single ACC game and only 3 games overall, have one of their best chances to win another game before the season ends today. Wake Forest in in second-to-last place in the ACC, just ahead of the last place Eagles.

The Demon Deacons ACC wins have come against Miami (Wake beat Miami 66-54, the Eagles beat them 84-62) and Pitt (Wake eked out a 76-75 victory over the Panthers, while BC’s game against Pitt was postponed during the COVID stretch).

The Eagles should have a decent chance at winning this one if a) they’re able to shut Daivien Williamson down and b) the majority of the BC team is healthy and cleared to play.
