Jeff Hafley’s quarterback decision has been revealed as game time approaches at Syracuse - but it’s not a simple decision at all. Instead, BC is announcing ahead of time that Dennis Grosel will start but Emmett Morehead will also appear in his first game as an Eagle.

Dennis Grosel to start and true freshman Emmett Morehead expected to see his first game action as an Eagle.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out and how BC deploys the true freshman. Will he just come in to play a few series, a la the TOB days and his regular use of backup QBs? Or will he be used in certain sets when BC is looking to throw the deep ball?
We shall see. It’s an interesting decision and one that will be scrutinized one way or the other following the game.
BC and Syracuse are about to kick off from the Carrier Dome, with NESN carrying the game in New England and other regional sports networks covering the game around the country.
