Name: Aidan Hreschuk

Position: Defenseman

Year: Freshman

Number: #7

Height: 5’11”

Hometown: Long Beach, CA

Previous Stats: Aidan spent the 202-21 season with the US National U18 team, where he flashed his ability as an offensive defenseman. Hreschuk scored six goals and added 31 assists in 50 games last season.

Season Outlook: While BC does return a number of defensemen from last season, Hreschuk should have the chance to play right away. He profiles as a solid two way player with enough puck skills to run a power play and chip in with some scoring. While he may not get top pairing minutes as soon as the season begins, he should get his chance to play and will hopefully be an immediate boost to the Eagles’ blue line.

Drafted: Drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes with the 94th pick in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft

Fun Fact: Hreschuk played for the Los Angeles Junior Kings from 2016-2019
