After giving Clemson the ball down by 6 with four minutes to go, things looked bleak for BC - but a quick and effective stop by the Eagles defense gave BC a chance to drive down the field with 1:40 to go.
Dennis Grosel then came to life, going 5-for-5 on the drive to move the Eagles down the field rapidly, to Clemson’s 11 yard line.
But then, it all fell apart, as BC seemed to be taking too long in the huddle, then had to scramble to the line and ended up flubbing the snap. The ensuing fumble was recovered by Clemson and that was your ballgame.
A devastating ending to a promising drive and game for BC. Dennis Grosel wasn't ready for the snap, and he couldn't hop on the loose ball. pic.twitter.com/sVWFWRTxTR

BC’s 19-13 loss to Clemson drops the Eagles to 4-1 on the season. This one will sting for a while, as BC had every opportunity to pick up their first win over Clemson in over 10 years. But it was not to be.
