UPDATE 1/20: Boston College has announced that Saturday’s game against Pittsburgh has also been postponed.

______________

This morning, Boston College announced that Wednesday’s men’s basketball game against Virginia Tech has been postponed. It is unclear whether this will also affect this weekend’s game.

The postponement is due to a positive COVID-19 test within the Boston College men’s basketball program, as well as due to contact tracing and quarantine protocols.

Previously, Boston College has cancelled swimming and diving practices and events due to COVID exposure, and well as having to cancel a number of field hockey games due to positive tests and contact tracing. Women’s ice hockey was able to play games despite missing players due to COVID protocol.

We wish the BC player(s) affected a speedy recovery. We will update as more information becomes available.
