The Boston College women’s basketball team announced today that they plan to start the 2020-21 season on November 25, which is about a 3 week delay from when the season would usually start. Chances are that this will also be the first game day for the men’s basketball team, as yesterday they tweeted out a hint that November 25 wouldn’t be a blank calendar day for much longer.
These announcements come just days before Boston College football is set to begin the season and just days after a COVID 19 outbreak shut down the BC swimming and diving program.
No announcements have been made about fans for winter sports, but no fans will be allowed at Boston College football games this season due to COVID 19, so one would assume that indoor sports also will not have fans in the building for the foreseeable future.
