The Boston College men’s soccer team announced Tuesday that it will not be playing its fall season.

The program cited difficulties in getting incoming and returning players to campus due to “current challenges,” contributing to a diminished roster size. The team cited “health and safety” as reasons for the postponement.
The team also noted that it will train during the fall semester in anticipation of a return to the pitch in the spring.
