That’s right, 2022.
That’s right, a cornerback.
Maryland native Jamal Hood committed to Boston College on Wednesday, making himself the first Eagle commit of the class. Hood is 6-0, 180 pounds, and again, still barely finished with his sophomore year of high school. Coach Aazaar came in with a reputation as a top notch recruiter, and boy has he lived up to his reputation, absolutely feeding on the DMV.

Arizona State, Florida, and Texas A&M, are among a whole host of upper echelon Power 5 programs to offer the St. Frances Academy prospect. Right now, Hood is a three-star prospect per 247sports. He’s a top-10 prospect in the state, and a top-30 corner in the country. Parlay that with some Hafley magic, and you’re looking great.
The list of programs that already have commitments from this class is very small, and comprised of almost all of the elite programs you would expect. In fact, only one other ACC school has a 2022 commit (Florida State).
Welcome to the Heights, Jamal!
