Next up in our series of profiles on potential Athletic Directors is Zac Selmon, a senior associate director at the University of Oklahoma.

At Oklahoma, Selmon provides administrative supervision for the principle fund-raising arm for the athletics department known as the Sooner Club. The club recorded record donations in 2018 and 2019 under Selmon’s leadership.

Selmon also oversees the men’s and women’s track and cross country teams and was named to the NCAA Football rules committee in November of 2019. He has been working at Oklahoma since 2015, and spent time at North Carolina as a special assistant to the athletic director before that.

Selmon has a master’s degree in education from the University of Oklahoma and was a student athlete and a member of the dean’s list for four years as an undergraduate student at Wake Forest. He also helped to found a non-profit organization named the Shine Foundation with his sister. The organization is dedicated to serving those in need and specializes in children’s projects in West Africa.
