JM Caparro Named Interim Athletic Director in Wake of Martin Jarmond’s Departure

Boston College Athletics officially announced the departure of Martin Jarmond Wednesday morning in a release to the Boston College community. In the release, the department announced that JM Caparro, the current Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs, will serve as interim Athletic Director while a search is immediately commenced to find Jarmond’s replacement.

Caparro, in his capacity as Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs, oversaw ticket sales & service, multimedia rights, marketing and ticket operations. He previously worked with the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, where he was the Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service. Before that, he was a part of the Team Marketing and Business Operations group with the NBA League Office.

Caparro is obviously serving the role in the interim basis. The search, officially, is now on to find Martin Jarmond’s replacement.
