Earlier this evening, Ally VanTimmeren announced her commitment to Boston College vía Twitter.

VanTimmeren, who will graduate high school in 2021, is a 6’3 forward that will add some needed height to the BC squad. A 3 year starter heading into her senior year, VanTimmeren received 27 Power Five offers (including 8 from ACC schools). Bluestar ranks her #44 in the class of 2021, and she is ranked #68 by Prospects Nation and #20 in her position by ESPN. She participated in the 2017 U16 Olympic Trials and was named to Michigan’s First Team All State last season.

Heading into her senior year of high school VanTimmeren already has over 1,000 career points. As a junior, she averaged an impressive 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks per game.

VanTimmeren is another successful get for Boston College head coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee and her staff, whose 2020 recruiting class is ranked 21st overall and 6th in the ACC and includes 5 star recruit Josiah Lacey.
