The college sports season has ended (too soon), and we’ve completed our year end awards, voted on by the BC Interruption staff. Check out all of the award winners below in case you missed any as we’ve announced them over the past few weeks!
- Female Rookie of the Year: Women’s ice hockey forward Hannah Bilka
- Male Rookie of the Year: Men’s ice hockey goalie Spencer Knight
- Male Most Improved Player of the Year: Men’s ice hockey forward Aapeli Räsänen (who recently signed a Finnish professional contract)
- Female Most Improved Player of the Year: Women’s ice hockey senior forward Delaney Belinskas
- Play of the Year: Women’s basketball buzzer beater against Notre Dame
- Best Off the Field Moment: Hiring new football coach Jeff Hafley
- Male Player Who Best Embodies the Spirit of a Boston College Eagle: Football’s AJ “The Sauce” Dillon
- Female Player Who Best Embodies the Spirit of a Boston College Eagle: Women’s basketball senior captain Emma Guy
- Game of the Year: Men’s Hockey beats Northeastern 10-1
- Coach of the Year: Women’s basketball coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee
- Team of the Year: Women’s Basketball
- Male Fan Favorite: Men’s hockey freshman defenseman Marshall Warren
- Female Fan Favorite: Women’s hockey senior Erin Connolly
- Male Player of the Year: Men’s hockey senior captain David Cotton
- Female Player of the Year: Women’s basketball sophomore Taylor Soule
