The Eagles’ ACC Tournament run came to an end this afternoon with a loss to NC State, as BC fell to to Wolfpack by a score of 82-75. BC’s post season dreams aren’t over yet however, as the Eagles are on the NCAA Tournament bubble and should be a lock for the NIT if the don’t make the NCAAs.
The Eagles scores first and took an early lead, taking a 24-23 lead into the second period. Unfortunately for BC, the second period was a struggle and the Wolfpack outscored the Eagles 25-6 to carry and 48-30 lead into halftime.
The Eagles fought back in the second half, being outscored by just 2 points in the third quarter and out scoring NC State an impressive 30-17 in the final quarter of play. Unfortunately, this wasn’t enough for the Eagles to stage a comeback and BC was ultimately eliminated from the Tournament as NC State will advance to face FSU in the finals.
