A reported 213 people took advantage in what has become the last opportunity to watch the Boston College Eagles women’s lacrosse team at home this season due to Boston College Athletics’ mandate that all on-campus sporting events be closed to the public due to the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) crisis. Those 213 people saw the Boston College Eagles rout the Hofstra Pride 20-10 powered by a 13-5 effort by the Eagles in the first half.

The Eagles started the game on a 7-0 run powered by a Cassidy Weeks hat trick. In the second half, Jenn Meijid stole the show, ending the day with five goals scored and one assisted credited.

Rachel Hall was the goalie of record for the Eagles, making 11 saves on 21 shots on goal.

The Eagles return to action Saturday, March 14 against Va. Tech in Newton, then will play Dartmouth at home on Wednesday, March 18.
