Another night, another thrilling win for the Boston College women’s basketball team. The Eagles defeated Notre Dame by a score of 56-55 tonight thanks to a buzzer beating layup from Emma Guy off a pass from Georgia Pineau. The Eagles are now 14-10 overall and 7-6 in the ACC.
The Eagles took an 11-10 lead into the second quarter in tonight’s game, but lost their way a bit in the second and were outscored 22-10. BC came back out fighting at halftime, and spent the end of the third quarter and beginning of the fourth quarter going on a 20-0 run. A couple threes got Notre Dame back in the mix, and the teams swapped leads until Guy won the game for BC at the buzzer.
