Preview

The Eagles don’t have much time to recover from their big loss against Georgia Tech earlier this week as they return back home to Conte today to take on #4 NC State. The Wolfpack are 5-0 overall, which includes a victory over #1 South Carolina. So while anything could happen, it would be a gigantic upset if BC manages to pull out a win.

Realistically, this is a chance for BC to work on some of their problem areas (fouling, turnovers) and to see how resilient they can be coming off of a disappointing loss. The Eagles will have to play really solid defense if they want this game to stay close - NC State has 6 different players averaging 10+ points per game and they are a super accurate team in general.

This game should also give the freshmen and sophomores some good experience against a top tier team, as well as helping Taylor Soule to prepare for the fact that for the rest of her time at BC she will be opponents’ number one target on defense.
