BC got a big time commitment from Bryce Steele, a four star inside linebacker/safety from North Carolina. Steele is a top-20 inside linebacker prospect in the 2021 recruiting class per 247Sports. He stands at 6-1, 207-pounds and runs a 4.55 40. He has the speed and physicality that are a perfect fit with what the Eagle defense needs. Look for Steele to get on the field early. He’ll be the 24th commitment of the class, after some shuffling, but the second highest rated.

Steele was previously committed to South Carolina before a head coaching change, and BC quickly pounced on the opportunity. He also held offers from Duke, UNC, Notre Dame, and plenty of others before ultimately choosing among the group of four above. Fun fact, Steele was previously roommates at Episcopal with BC quarterback commit Emmett Moorehead before returning home to Raleigh.
Welcome to the Heights, Bryce!
