The Eagles have just one senior this season - 5’10” guard Sydney Lowery out of Connecticut.
Lowery only played in 19 games last season, but she historically has been particularly strong defensively, picking up 10 steals last season, 24 as a sophomore, and 14 as a freshman. She’s averaged 5 points and 2.4 rebounds over her 3 seasons with BC and is historically quite strong from behind the free throw line.
While she might not make the massive impact that some of the juniors will, her defensive abilities and overall leadership will help determine how successful this BC team is able to be.
BC would have had a pair of seniors this year, but Milan Bolden-Morris has left the team and will be transferring from Boston College. Bolden-Morris had 143 career 3-pointers at the end of last season, so her loss will definitely be felt in that regard.
