Lawrence Academy (M.A.) junior Matt Ragan committed to Boston College. Ragan is a 6-2, 225-pound tight end. He’s a three-star prospect who’s rated a top five prospect in the state and top-25 tight end prospect nationally, per 247. Seems like an obvious choice for a local prospect that gets to see Hunter Long ball out week in week out. Ragan has great hands and looks like a matchup nightmare on the field. The ‘22 prospect is also the younger brother of former Eagle offensive lineman Sean Ragan.
I am very excited to announce that I will be committing to Boston College. I would to thank all the coaches who recruited me along the way. Special thanks to @CoachJeffHafley @Coach_Shimko @JoeSuIlivan #theroom #4for4 pic.twitter.com/KjdIhlwtny

Note the Twitter handle (@36Mattyice). Ragan held additional offers from Michigan State, Duke, Pittsburgh (hehe), Vanderbilt, West Virginia, and a few others. He’ll become the fourth member of the Eagles’ ‘22 Class.
Welcome to the Heights, Matt!
