Former BC football captain and linebacker Sean Duggan has been named as BC’s new linebackers coach on Jeff Hafley’s staff.

Duggan last suited up for BC during the 2014 season, and played in 45 career games at the Heights. He finished his career as an Eagle with 115 tackles, 6.5 TFLs, and two interceptions and fumble recoveries a piece. He then joined the BC staff as a defensive graduate assistant in 2015. He spent the next two seasons as a linebackers coach at the University of Hawaii. After spending the 2018 season coaching linebackers back at UMass, Duggan went back home to Ohio and joined the Ohio State defensive staff.

Here’s how Coach Hafley spoke of Sean:

“After working with Sean at Ohio State, he was a guy who jumped out that if I ever landed a head job, I have to hire this guy. He is smart, reliable, sees things on gameday and really understands the big picture. He is well advanced beyond his years and has a chance to be a superstar in our profession.”

Welcome back to the Heights, Sean!
