The Boston College Eagles picked up their first conference points of the season Friday evening in Blacksburg, Va., drawing the Hokies 2-2 at Thompson Field.

The Hokies struck first in the 25th minute. After BC turned the ball over in the defensive half, Daniel Pereira passed the ball back and forth between Christian Garner, and he eventually one-timed the shot into the BC goal.

The Eagles drew even in the 55th minute. Lasse Lehmann received a corner from Amos Shapiro-Thompson, and he one-timed a shot for his first goal of the season.

The Hokies struck back in the 68th minute on a shot off a feed from Chris Little, giving the Hokies a 2-1 lead that was held until the 90th minute. Joe Kellett took a shot to the left of the goalkeeper and defensive wall on a set piece just outside of the box. He found the back of the net for his second goal of the season, giving the Eagles the 2-2 draw.

BC was down a man for the entire second half, and some of the first, after Alejandro Zimmerman was sent off for a red card.

The Eagles begin a four game homestead on Oct. 1 against Merrimack.
