Name: Mike Hardman

Number: 19

Position: Forward

Class Year: Freshman

Drafted: N/A, but attended the Boston Bruins development camp this summer

Background: Mike Hardman, a Massachusetts native, joins BC from the West Kelowna Warriors of the BCHL, where he tallied 39 goals and 33 points for a total of 72 points in 58 games. He was the second-leading goal scorer in the BCHL and was named a BCHL Second Team All-Star. His 72 points led the Warriors, ranking third overall in the league.

2019-20 Outlook: Hardman will arrive at BC older than most freshmen, having turned 20 earlier this year. His experience will definitely be a positive for a team that is usually on the younger side, especially after having five seniors graduate this past year. That being said, it remains to be seen where he will officially slot into the lineup, though he could definitely be a solid offensive contributor in the bottom six. The Eagles severely lacked scoring depth last season, so they could definitely use a player on the third or fourth lines that has the scoring touch that Hardman has displayed in the past.

Fun Fact: Won the BCHL’s Bob Fenton Trophy for the Most Sportsmanlike Player
