The Boston College Eagles only were able to score one goal early in Sunday afternoon’s contest against cross-town rival Boston University.

As it turns out, one goal was enough.

Kristofer Kondrasson’s tally in the fourth minute of Sunday’s contest was the deciding factor as the Eagles downed the Terriers during Sunday afternoon’s contest at Nickerson Field in Allston.

Giacomo Piccardo recorded his second straight clean sheet, turning away five shots on goal from the Terriers.

Kondrasson was taken out for 11 minutes during the middle of the second half, but finished with 79 minutes logged on the day.

The Eagles road ahead only gets harder. After facing Rhode Island Friday in newton, the Eagles travel to Worcester to take on Holy Cross before starting ACC play in Raleigh, N.C. against North Carolina State. If the past two games are any indication, the Eagles look ready.
