Boston College women’s lacrosse head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein announced this week that three transfers — Charlotte North and Bridget Simmons, both junior attackers, and sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Hall — have joined the team ahead of the 2020 season.

North joins as a transfer from Duke University, where she averaged 4.32 goals per game during her sophomore season, third-best in the nation. She led the team in scoring with 82 goals and 23 assists for a total of 105 points this past season, and had a hat trick in 15 of the Blue Devils’ 19 games. She earned a placement on the IWLCA All-South-Region First team as a sophomore, while also being on the Tewaaraton Watch List and All-ACC Second Team honoree twice.

Simmons joins from the University at Albany, where she tallied five goals and one assist in 12 games during her sophomore season. She was also the leading scorer for Notre Dame Academy during her senior year, tallying 50 goals and 10 assists.

Hall led the country with 246 saves through 18 games during her freshman season at the University of Oregon. She finished the season with a .498 save percentage and averaged 13.67 saves per game, earning Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honors. She was recently named to the USA U19 Team, and will compete in the World Cup Championship this summer.
