Metzdorf was named to the All-ACC First Team, and All-America Third Team.

The Washington Nationals scooped up third baseman Jake Alu in the 24th round. Alu batted .343 with 40 RBIs in 58 games in his senior season, earning him All-ACC Third Team honors.

Finally, the Cincinnati Reds took junior Matt Gill in the 27th round. Over the course of the season Gill morphed into BC’s closer. He finished the year 3-3 with 6 saves and a 6.90 ERA.
