The Boston College men’s hockey team released their schedule for the upcoming 2019-2020 season earlier this week. Last seen falling just short of an improbable run in the Hockey East Tournament, the Eagles will be looking to bounce back after three consecutive seasons of missing the NCAA Tournament. It will be no easy task, however, as BC’s schedule combines its usual host of top out of conference teams with an always grueling Hockey East slate.
After an exhibition game against New Brunswick on October 5, the Eagles will host a Wisconsin team that they lost to twice last season on Friday, October 11 to start their season. They’ll then be on the road for eight of their next ten games, including a two game series at Denver and seven Hockey East match ups.
Other notable dates include a Friday/Sunday weekend home-and-home series with former Hockey East foe Notre Dame on December 6 and 8, a home-and-home with national runner-up UMass Amherst on January 10 and 11, and the three games against BU. The two Hockey East games will take place on January 18 at BC and February 29 at BU with the opening round of the Beanpot will see the rivals facing off on February 3.
