Boston College Women’s Lacrosse Earns #2 Overall Seed for the 2019 NCAA Championship

The Eagles will play the winner of Dartmouth vs. Colorado

The Boston College women’s lacrosse team has earned the #2 overall seed in the 2019 NCAA Tournament after going 19-1 so far this season. Maryland earned the #1 overall seed for the tournament, and ACC Tournament champions UNC earned the #3 seed.

The Eagles will have a first round bye and will face the winner of Dartmouth (11-5) vs. Colorado (10-7) in the second round. BC has already defeated Dartmouth this season with a 20-10 victory in February. The second round games are scheduled to be played on May 10. BC’s match will be held on the team’s home field over on Newton Campus.

This year’s Final Four will take place at Homewood Field at Johns Hopkins University, with the Championship Game being played at noon on May 26. The Eagles are hoping to avoid repeating history, after going undefeated in the regular season last year and losing only the NCAA and ACC Championship games.
