The Boston College women’s tennis team is had to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 22 years after earning a 16-10 record this season and making it to the second round of the ACC Tournament. The last time BC had 15+ wins was in 2003-04, and the team has been trending upwards in recent years after winning fewer than 10 games a season between 2005 and 2011.

The Eagles are set to face #24 Florida (12-11) in Kansas in the first round of this year’s tournament. The other teams in their region are Denver and #14 Kansas. Scheduling for the game is TBA.

This season, BC was led by Yufei Long and Kylie Wilcox, both of whom earned All-ACC Third Team honors. Long ended the season ranked 71st by the ITA, while Wilcox and her partner Jackie Urbinati were ranked 56th in doubles.
