DE Zach Allen Picked In 3rd Round By Arizona Cardinals

The second Eagle is off the board

NCAA Football: Senior Bowl Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

Defensive end Zach Allen is off the board, as the Arizona Cardinals took the Eagle with the first pick in the third round.

The Cardinals have been busy, picking Kyler Murray with the first pick of the draft, trading Josh Rosen to the Dolphins, and selecting UMass product Andy Isabella to close out the second round.

Allen, a hybrid defensive end and defensive tackle really showed up his senior season for Boston College. He had a huge game against Clemson on National television, and finished the year with 6.5 sacks, 15.0 tackles for loss, and seven pass break ups. He was named an ACC 2nd Team player at the end of the season.

Zach Allen was the second Eagle selected in the draft, following Chris Lindstrom who was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round. Who will be next? Will Harris? Will someone draft him in the third round.

Congrats Zach!
