Completing the perfect regular season seemed like a forgone conclusion after the Eagles finished off Yale Tuesday afternoon, with just lowly Louisville left on the schedule.
And boy, was the effort against Louisville surgical.
The Eagles left little doubt Saturday afternoon at Alumni Stadium, downing the Cardinals 19-6 to finish perfect in regular season play.
Dempsy Arsenault had a game to remember, netting six goals in the effort. The six goal effort fell just short of her all-time of the seven goals that she scored in March against Northwestern.
Aditionally, Cara Urbank netted a hat trick of her own in the effort, in addition to the three assists she obtained.
The Eagles outscored opponents 299-166 on the season, demonstrative of the Eagles strong attack
The Eagles will host the ACC tournament starting Wednesday, where they will play Louisville once again at 11 AM at Alumni Stadium. The Eagles will have the No. 1 seed in the tournament.
