In a not so unexpected move, Boston College Eagles star Ky Bowman has decided to forego his senior season and declare for the NBA Draft. The North Carolina native took to Twitter and Instagram to make his announcement:
Enjoyed my past three years at BC I am thankful for all my teammates coaches and friends I have made on this journey. An I am glad to announce I will be taking the next step in my life by… https://t.co/choz5hBNon

Bowman, a second team All ACC selection this year finished fourth in the conference in scoring with 19.2 ppg, eighth in assists, and tenth in rebounding with 7.6. Bowman brought a flair to the Eagles, and in 2017 he was part of one of the most dynamic back courts in the country along with now NBA rookie Jerome Robinson. It’s too bad his career ended on a tough string of losses, including being beaten handily by the Pittsburgh Panthers in the ACC tournament.
It’ll be interesting to see how workouts effect Bowman’s stock in the draft. Currently most Mock Drafts have him falling somewhere in the second round. But if he impresses coaches at workouts, he could rise like his teammate Robinson did last spring.
Thanks for all the memories Ky, and good luck in the NBA!
