Not sure what is happening over in Chestnut Hill, but Boston College football recruiting is exploding, with their second four star commitment in the past three weeks. First it was local blue chipper Kevin Pyne, this time the Eagles landed inside linebacker Korey Smith from New Jersey:

Smith from the Peddie School in Hightstown New Jersey also held offers from the Colorado Buffaloes, North Carolina Tar Heels, Pittsburgh Panthers, Purdue Boiler Makers, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Syracuse Orange, and Vanderbilt Commodores. According to Rivals he is ranked the #12 inside linebacker in the country and the #11 recruit in the state of New Jersey.
BC currently has three commits in the class of 2020, with Smith, Kevin Pyne and Seth Jones. There are a handful of other recruits that are highly regarded as well that could be heading BC’s way as well including but not limited to Kaleel Mullings (LB), Zac Zinter (OT), Parker McQuarrie (QB), and a bevy of offers to St. Thomas Aquinas a football school in Florida that pumps out loads of quality players.
