Boston College had a huge weekend on campus, with multiple recruits visiting the school. Today the first from that group committed to Steve Addazio and the Eagles, and it’s Andre Hines Jr.:

Hines plays both linebacker and running back at his high school so it is unclear what position he was recruited for at BC, hence we will leave it as Athlete for now. He held offers from Rutgers, Kent State, UMass, and a bevy of other mid level schools.
While his offer list may not be as impressive as fellow commits Korey Smith and Kevin Pyne, Hines is a significant commitment. He plays at Eramus Hall Campus, a premier school in New York that has produced a ton of talent, multiple five stars (most recently going to Penn State and Miami). This is big that Addazio’s staff now has an inroad with that school.
