After heading into halftime down by 1, the Boston College men’s basketball team earned a comeback win over Louisville tonight with a final score of 66-59. The Eagles outscored the Cardinals 44-36 in the second half to secure their victory, improving their record to 14-13 overall and 5-10 in the ACC.
Ky Bowman led the game with 25 points and 12 rebounds, picking up BC’s only double-double of the game. Nik Popovic also scored in the double digits for BC with 16 points, and added 9 rebounds to the Eagles’ total. The Eagles were helped along by Louisville’s 14 turnovers (BC committed only 4 of their own).
Despite the victory, the Eagles struggled with rebounding tonight - Louisville out-rebounded BC 53-38 and limited BC to just 8 offensive rebounds.
