The Boston College women’s lacrosse team earned another dominant victory today, defeating Dartmouth by a score of 20-10. Dartmouth scored the first goal of the game, but BC followed that up with 3 straight goals and retained their lead for the rest of the game. The Eagles went into the second half with just a 3 goal lead after a trio of unanswered Dartmouth goals, but BC pulled away in final half to secure victory.
The Eagles were led on offense by Sam Apuzzo, who scored 8 goals in today’s game, and Kenzie Kent, who scored once and recorded 6 assists. Taylor Walker and Cara Urbank also scored hat tricks for BC with 3 goals each, Jordan Lappin scored twice, and Maggie Casey, Jenn Medjid, and Dempsey Arsenault joined Kent with one goal apiece.
In addition to leading the game in goals, Apuzzo led all players with 9 draw control wins, while Elizabeth Miller led the game with 3 caused turnovers. Goalie Abbey Ngai helped to secure BC’s victory with 12 saves for the Eagles in her first full game of the season.
