Steve Addazio and Company may have landed the highest rated recruit during their time in Chestnut Hill. Local 4* OT Kevin Pyne, who was once a 5*, and currently #23 in the country overall (via Rivals) committed to the Eagles on Monday night.
I am thankful to have met some great people over the past years through recruiting, but I’ve made my decision to stay home and commit to play for the Boston College Eagles!! pic.twitter.com/gG8CUbn5Rf

This is an absolutely huge get for the Eagles, as they beat out the following schools for Pyne: Clemson Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Michigan Wolverines, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Georgia Bulldogs, Florida Gators, Auburn Tigers, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas A&M Aggies, Wisconsin Badgers, Virginia Tech Hokies, North Carolina Tar Heels amongst many many others. Not only is this possibly the biggest get for Steve Addazio, but this is possibly BC’s biggest commit since Brian Toal.
Of course the recruiting cycle is very very early, and lots can change, but if BC can hold on to Pyne this would be absolutely huge for the program and really send a jolt into BC recruiting. Pyne is already trying to recruit others to the program on Twitter, most notably Kalel Mullings another high 4* LB (ranked 80th in the country).
