Boston College Women’s Basketball vs. Northwestern Game Preview

After a strong win over Tulane in Puerto Rico, BC looks to keep things rolling as they head to Illinois

NCAA Womens Basketball: Notre Dame at Boston College Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

The Boston College women’s basketball team picked up their first road win of the season last week, taking down Tulane on neutral ground at the Puerto Rico Clasico. Tonight, BC looks to improve their away-from-Conte winning record as the Eagles face Northwestern in what is probably the toughest matchup the Eagles have encountered so far this season. The Wildcats have been pretty consistently dominating their competition this year, and will be fired up following a 2 point loss to DePaul on Sunday. The Eagles are more consistent shooters than the Wildcats, so if the Eagles want a chance of winning this game they are going to need to be strong on defense and maintain the improved shooting we have seen from them in recent games.
