A lot of uncertainty surrounds the Boston College football program even after the Eagles defeated Pittsburgh. 26-19 Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh, but one thing is now certain: Boston College is bowl eligible for the sixth time in seven seasons.
Powered by a 178 yard effort by AJ Dillon, the Eagles out slugged the Panthers in a back and forth effort at Heinz Field.
Aaron Boumerhi, notably, had a major role in the Eagles’ efforts Saturday, going four-for-four on field goals, contributing 12 points to the Eagles’ efforts.
Dennis Groesel was 9-for-19 throwing for 123 yards and one touchdown, and was only sacked once.
