Boston College Men’s Soccer Falls 2-0 to Washington in NCAA Tournament

The Eagles finished 9-6-3 on the year

The Boston College Eagles’ season came to an end Sunday evening in Seattle after the Eagles fell to Washington 2-0 in the second round of the NCAA men’s soccer tournament.

The Huskies were powered by a two point night by Blake Bodily, who notched a goal and assist on the evening.

The Huskies started out their scoring in the 25th minute when Bodily scored a goal that was assisted by Charlie Ostrem and Lucas Meek. The Huskies added to their total in the 31st minute, when Jaret Townsend scored on a goal that was assisted by Bodily.

The Eagles were not able to put one of their five shots past Sam Fowler.

Victor Souza was issued a red card in the 90th minute of the game.

The result obviously isn’t what we hoped for this team, but there is a lot to be excited about as there is a lot of youth on the team that will only get better from here.
