You guys! BC won TWO non-conference games!
Get excited!
Finally, after a few years of non-conference futility, we start the year on a high note, and it’s hard not to be excited.
And now, BC is traveling out west to play the… number one team in the county, Denver? Ah, crap.
Look, it is indisputable that Denver is going to be a step up from Wisconsin and Colgate, and the fact that BC is going to be on the road so far is troubling. But, this team showed they can play well last weekend, so let’s see if the optimism can remain.
What to watch for:
- Playing Goliath with possibly no David (or Logan): Logan Hutsko and David Cotton left the game at Colgate last week with injuries. We haven’t heard anything either way about whether they’re going to play, but the fact remains that the Eagles may be playing one of the best teams in the country without two of their best scorers. Look for Marshall Warren and Matt Boldy to play a greater role if Hutsko and Cotton are out.
- It’s Kniiiiiiight Time: Spencer Knight was outstanding this past weekend. If he keeps up that play the Eagles will be juuuust fine.
- Players to Look out For: Look out for Bobby Brink to be a thorn in the Eagles’ side, he has been very strong to begin the year. Coupled with Emilio Pettersen and Cole Guttman, they are a threat to score at any point.

Yards Loyal Lager
I haven’t had it yet, but this is a lager from a brewery with a strong pedigree. Worth a try.
Also just drink a Coors Light.

Hopefully a lot of this (by which I mean opponents scoring on Denver) happens this weekend.
Also remember American Sports Network? lol can you believe that a program like Denver associated with something so rinky-dink as the American Sports Network?
