How to Watch: Holy Cross Crusaders at Boston College Eagles

Is true victory just winning? Or is true victory beating your opponent so badly that they don’t play you for three decades?

GAME DAY FACTS

WHO

Boston College Eagles (1-0, 0-0 ACC) vs

Holy Cross Crusaders (0-1)

WHAT

It’s an FCS warm up, but it is also a restoration of a storied rivalry that last played in 1986. So I’m conflicted about the meaning of this game. At the very least, #AVENGE1942.

For the record, BC leads the series 48-31-3

WHERE

Alumni Stadium

Chestnut Hill, MA

WHEN

Saturday September 8, 2018

Kickoff is set for 1pm EST

HOW TO WATCH

This game is not on TV, but you can get it through ACC Network Extra and WatchESPN.

HOW TO LISTEN

The radio broadcast will be on the BC IMG Sports Network, which is 95.7FM for the locals.

HOW TO FOLLOW ALONG ON TWITTER

For complete coverage, follow @bcinterruption to get every soaring high and heart wrenching low on Twiatter.

BC’s BEST CHANCE TO WIN

I usually write a lot here because analysis is the best part of this job, but this week we can just put this here and replace “Lebron” with AJ Dillon and Zach Allen.

This game may be worse than 2015 Howard.

Watch Parties:

Chicago: Can’t confirm a Chicago one, but it will be back next Thursday for Wake Forest!

New York: Dewey’s Pub is “Little Alumni” in New York, and is once again throwing its doors open to BC fans. There will be free 30 minutes of Bud Light open bar prior to kickoff and during half time. They also will be putting on BC themed food specials! (Having been there, I can verify it’s a great time)
