In a gathering with alumni benefactors last evening, Athletics's Director Martin Jarmond announced a $150 million dollar campaign effort to re-brand Boston College athletics and make us one of the top-tier athletic programs in the ACC. The five year plan will address multiple areas within the organization including academic support programs for student athletes, facility management, fan game-day experience and a whole host of other changes aimed at making Boston College one of the strongest programs in the conference. Much of this plan’s success will hinder on donations of alumni, parents, former athletes, corporate members and other members of the BC community. Dubbing the plan as the ‘Greater Heights’ campaign, Jarmond is striving to instill Eagle athletics as a consistent top 25 team, enhance our recruiting strategies and make Boston College a household name in the world of college sports.

This is the type of news us as Eagles fans love to hear. This is such a a great vision and sense of optimism coming from our athletic director and it would be amazing to see all of these milestones be hit. If you would like to learn more about the campaign or to donate, please visit the link above. We wish Martin the best of luck and we cannot wait to see what he accomplishes in bringing this program to new heights!
